--------White cars akways get my attention and this one is great. As an aside, I dont think I have ever seen a cowl hooded Camaro with this stripe. You mentioned that you added it and it looks cQQl but can anyone say whether you could or couldnt get this stripe with this optional hood from the factory????..........Bill S

You mean there's a car in that picture Bruce?!

Love white cars...and it's nice to see a different stripe for a change!

The cowl induction hood was only available on a Copo, Z28 and SS. The DX1 stripe was not available on Z28 or SS cars, but was available on base models and possibly a Copo. So the DX1 stripe was available on this car but not the cowl hood.

I did see an unrestored RS convertible that just happened to be white with the DX-1 stripe and a flat hood on Ebay a few months ago. It was the twin of this car on ebay a few months back, amazingly similar with the exception of the hood and a couple other minor differences, I definitely did a double-take. I just wanted something other than a hockey or Z-28 stripes to break up all the white.

BTW Dave I really like the look of the car, you did a great job. The DX1 stripe really adds that special touch...congrats.

So maybe we're not talking 100% original, still pretty nice. Car, too.
