If you look up "sleeper" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of a '70 MC SS.The upside on those cars looks very bright...good luck.

If you dive into a serious MC SS454 project, you'd be better of doing it because you really like the car rather than as an investment. Even though it is identical to an LS-5 Chevelle SS under the skin, the skin still says grandpa. Which can be pretty cool, especially when one of the 5.0 Mustang boys pulls up next to you and smirks. Until the light turns green, that is. I owned one in the early 1990's and loved it.
Good luck, BCD. |

IF I decide to go for the car, it will be put away for a while until my current project is done. I have always liked the 70-72 Monte body style, as does my Wife....Which will make it easier to get by with..
This car is pretty complete, and is not a total basket case. The seller is kink of "wishy-washy" about the sale, as I have discussed it more than once with him. This is just one of those things that I can take, or leave without losing any sleep. I plan to follow up on the car in the next few weeks, but wanted to get some input as to it's value. ![]() |
