Ooops Rich ...

I responded to your PM before seeing this post. DOH !!! I'm due for a call to Rich Powers (Olds engine builder back in the day), so what a better excuse than to ask him about "Quick Silver" .......

i would go with the raced version. cars like Hurst SC/ramblers, Olds, and Ralleye Olds didnt have additional options to differentriate them from other cars. this car has personality as a racecar.

My first call came up empty Rich. Rich Powers doesn't recall the car. Sorry. I've still got two more in "inventory" to follow up with.

My second call looks to be more fruitful. My buddy does recall the car. He thinks that is one of seven that were sold from the same dealership in the SE Michigan area. If you PM me the S/N, we can nail down the dealership it was sold out of.

Hey Casey,

I couldn't believe it when I saw your sig. I saw Ennis' Menace run at a WCS points meet in Sioux City, IA in 69. I think it was running D/S. There was another 68 Biscayne at the same meet called the "Union Jack" I wish I had some pics. Woh raced the Ennis car and where were they from? Frank Payne
