I'm am getting to the end of my nut and bolt restoration and I have a few quick questions I hope someone can help me with. I built a completely correct 69 yenko clone and I just want to make sure everything I do is correct. So, I have gotten to installing my door panels (deluxe interior) and I do not know where to mount my power window switch so that it is correct. There is a knock out in the back of the door panel for a window crank but not for a switch. Is that knock out what I am supposed to use? Rear side panel location?
Also I do not know where to route my window relay so that it is right, or how to route the power window wires behind the kick panel. Any and all help is greatly appreciated as I'm a few short weeks from finishing this thing and this is turning out to be a real headache. Thanks, Rich |

Just leave them out, it will be more 'correct' since there were no Yenko Camaro's with p/w's!

Unfortunately, no '69 Yenko Camaros were built with deluxe interior either, so it's not only the power window switches that are gonna give you away.
Nice looking Camaro though...it sure came a long way. Good luck to you getting it all finished up. ![]() |

Well, I'm not trying to pass it off as a real Yenko...it is correct as far as every nut bolt and screw, all components are correct if ordered with such options..but I built it with everything I wanted...Power windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Seats, Deluxe Interior,427 with a mean roller cam and aluminum heads, stainless lines, laser straight body, etc..I hear you guys, when building the car I was fully aware that no cars were built like this but the whole thing is by the book. Once again any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Rich |

Rich, the pass side and rears mount in the same hole as the handle, I have a PW drivers deluxe door panel if you need measurements. It fits in the same slot in the door that the handle comes through.
