Looks pretty nice....the '68 L78 engine is a bonus! . Like Tommy, vinyl top cars in some color combos are growing on me too! . .

I talked to the owner and he said that he has only owned the car for 5yrs.He bought it from a buddy of his,he owned it for 12yrs.The buddy bought it from some dealer in Cedar Rapids Iowa.The way that the car sits is the way the buddy bought it.Asked what he needed out of it,he said"I dont know,but I'm not going to give it away".No serious offers yet but he wanted to know if I wanted to make one.I told him I would get back to him.I told him that I wanted to come back and look at it a little more.He said it was not the end of the world if he didnt sell it,but,his house project kinda went over budget.Its more money than I wanted to spend but I think it is a good investment.The value is only going to go up right?????Time to go wash the truck to take my mind off of it.Probably wont sleep tonight thinking about it.Gotta go.I'll keep you updated.

Kendall,
He who hesitates loses, especially now that you mentioned it here on a public forum. I would go put a deposit on that car asap if I were you, and get a SIGNED and NOTORIZED bill of sale. Unless you can get the cash today, then I would show up with the trailer and cash in hand. You can bet that people have been blowing up that first pic and trying to get the phone number off of that truck!

Dealer most likely was Rapids. They sold a lot of performance cars in the CR area. Buy it NOW. If you change your mind later, there's probably a line right here who will take it off your hands.
