Wow...what a great day for Pavillions! Monday or Tuesday should be our 1st 100 degree day...so this was/is the last chance for a lot of the Pavillions regulars to come out and show off their cars. Most get parked when it gets HOT!

First car is a 1956 Chevy...

Okay...there's a story behind this picture (I was told by a friend at Pavillions about this). It seems as though the crew who puts on this show every weekend told a guy who happened to have one of the new "bronze colored Daytonas" that he couldn't park at the car show because he didn't have a muscle car....so what did the guy do???? He contacted every one in his car club to show up at Pavillions with their Daytonas...there were cars there from West Virginia, Colorado, California...the cars took up two entire rows...

I heard the DJ "thanking" the Daytona group for showing up...was he covering his a$$? Is this a true story...? I don't know...
