SS on outer frame by steering box, hard to read in pic. Worn out from posting retiring from pics for the night. |

[ QUOTE ] Steering wheel center, Camaro? Notice 2 holes in gauge cluster upper right, tach was there? [/ QUOTE ] Yep, looks like the holes are spaced perfectly for a Stewart Warner pedestal tach. Check the firewall, I bet you find the 2 holes where the sending unit was screwed on. Cool stuff!

The deluxe steering wheel was found on just about all 1968 Yenkos. Take it off and put it in a safe place. Tach in upper right corner of dash carrier. Here is an interior picture of the 68 Yenko we did when I was at Camaro Specialties. Rick H. |

I don't see the lower reverse lights found on all rally sports so someone probably changed out the clear lens for the red lense. Easy to fix. When these cars were raced a light was required at night in the rear and most racers changed out the clear lens for the red. Great find. Rick H. |

There is a pic of the firewall where the sending unit was on the 2nd page of post. Thanks Rick H. and Camaro Joe for the info and pics. Restored interior is nice, can't wait for this one to look like that one.
