Yes Pete, Canadian Car and Foundry built hundreds if not thousands of "Harvards" under contract in the WWII era. I've flown in T-6s several times and they are a BLAST. Not exactly a P-51 but not exactly a Cessna 150 either.
The first thing I thought of when I saw this photo was that these guys are serious candidates for a Darwin Award.
