With the 37 Yenko Novas being built in 1969. Did this make a 69 nova eligable to run in stock and super stock classes?

I doubt it...the '70 LT-1 Novas have *yet* to be recognized by the NHRA...

There had to be 50 min. built from the factory to run SS and 500 to run stock class back then.

so a nova runnig in s/s back in the day would have run the 396

Yup. There was never a factory 427 in a Nova.
