One of the best events is at an SCR I don't know of anywhere else where you can count on racing 3-5 other Yenko Deuces

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks Marlin. Unfortunately I don't own a Yenko Duece or even a Supercar for that matter, but it sounds like a fun time.

Tom, I've only been to the last two, but I dont think I'll miss another one. These are cars you'll NEVER be able to see elsewhere.

You got till September, make plans now. Like the old US 30 commercials used to say..... BE THERE!!

Not at a Pure Stock or Stock Appearing event, DZ...look up towards the top of this thread at my earlier post, and click on the red Pure Stock link...that will bring up the rules page.

And if you are running gennie [074] L-88 style heads, doesn't the increased spring pressure create havoc with the exhaust stud bosses?

Jim
The bore is larger,.125 over, and the stroke is shorter,4.25.My heads(074) have welded in reinforcment for the stud boss problem you speak of,the rev kits are too tall to fit under stock valve covers as far as I know. As far as traction goes,I have been lucky, almost no wheelspen off the line, about 10 or 15 feet in 2nd gear, none in 3rd!

Are you talking about the FAST Class or the SCR? SCR is an invitation thing I thought.

AT SCR...you can race whatever you want to...just pay the entry fee and race. I might have to race the rental this year!
