Default Re: 1967 Camaro Wheels

I did a search for these wheels a little while back. I put discs on my '67 so I put American Racing rims to clear the calipers. I missed the stock look of the dog-dish caps that my car came with (that I stupidly tossed!!) so I got a set of disc brake steel wheels and did a search for the style of hubcaps shown above. Nobody repros them, but you should be able to find in a junkyard or ebay (where I got mine). They came on '14 rims for Camaros, Novas and Chevelles in '67. The '66 dog dish caps are very similar but painted a little different.

The 1966 dog dishes found on Chevelles have a black center with a chrome bowtie. Not correct for the Camaro. As mentioned this style dog dish is not reproduced and if you want a mint or close to mint set they can be pricy. I searched a long time until I found a set that were very close to show quality.

I might be interested in trading my dog dishes for the 67 rally centers if they are GM. I have set of repop center caps right now but want GM. Let me know.

Hey Rick,

I believe these are factory GM caps. I have had them for many years and they are close to perfect. I don't see any scratches or dings. The letter and bow tie paint will need to be redone. I would love to trade if you are interested.

Jason,
I am on business trip until next Wednesday and will let you know. The dog dishes caps I have are in great condition.

No offense but I really want as close to mint as possible for the rally center caps. I don't want to have to paint them if possible.

I'll think it over until then.

I didn't look close enough at them to see if they needed painting or not I just assumed you would repaint the letters. I know they still have paint on them but the condition of the paint wasn't looked at closely.
