Anyone interested in a 68 chevy II ss car??? Long black plastic strips that are screwed to the underside of the rockers. They hang down a few inches to help 'hide' the view of the subframe rails, etc... They are '68 only, and we believe only on exterior decor cars - but not totally sure yet. They are still a research topic.

I was looking at a 68 a few week ago, it had some type of skirt under the rockers.I thought was added by some one.

this was a 6cyl, car with the chrome around the doors.

I think they came as a part of the exterior upgrade.

My son's 68 Nova has them. Car is a very unmolested 60K mile car. Cleans up the view from the side as suggested. I'm sure that they were the first thing to go if the car was ever jacked from underneath. His car does have the custom exterior trim.
