Dennis,
The biggest concern is the build sheet which said the car was an L78. The car itself has a return fuel line which would indicate otherwise. The previous owner indicated that the car never had a build sheet. Are you saying the build sheet is real? Let's just try and clear this up as to what the car really is. Any BB 'vert 69 Camaro is valuable and clarification will just help you sell it.

Dennis has a solid project, rolling car. But, its value, as substantiated via a build sheet, needs to be recalibrated to reflect as such.
..and Dennis, burn that build sheet. I’m not saying you would use it again, but it could be used in the future to mis-represent the car. You’re a man of integrity and I know you don’t want to see that happen.

Too bad it isn't a Pontiac, then you would have known.

This reminds me in the late 80s,i went to buy an all original 69 z28,the owner swore it was the 302 born with the car, never wrecked, upon inspection shabby rear qourter job, then i started it,slapped the throttle for a quick rev and it reved to about 4500,I did it again then turned the car off,I said this is not a 302!! it revs like a 350,having owned one i new they would rev to 7500 no problem, the owner then said well i did have some work done on the engine along time ago, obvously this was gonna be a no sale. mabey the guy that he had work on the engine stole the good parts when he rebuilt it .I think if your speding big money on a car,it must be inspected, and owner history is very important....if i was gonna buy a car for under ten grand on ebay i would, and did turned out it was a real rs z28 without the motor or papers no biggie thats small money..but if im gonna kick down 50 plus grand on a car it better be real.... just remember if its to good to be true it most likley is.If you really want the real mckoy, you have to spend the real mckoy. 37 k for a L78 convert hum!!try 100 plus...
