Wow....nice piece! . I can't do it but it sounds cheap for what you get! . Beautiful job and cool motor story too. . What stampings does the motor have? ~ Pete

I appreciate all the positive comments. Actually I was a little reluctant to post it considering some of the members have very strong ideas against any thing that resembles a Clo, Clo, Clo (you know...the C word). This car is really not a, the C word. It's just Powered By and I suspect runs very similar to the real thing. I've never driven the real thing so I can only guess. I do know that this thing flies.

The only markings I was able to find are on the back of the block and written on the outside of the crate "SYEH" Nothing on the block pad. Originally sold sometime after Yenko moved to McMurrey (the return address on the crate is McMurrey) and before GM stopped casting the block. No date code that I could find in the usual places. The HP number is somewhat of an estimate. I didn't have what it takes to pull the engine to 7000rpm like it's built to go to but at 5900rpm it pulled 516hp and the curve was very strong. I think 535 is constrictive

It only has about 200 miles on it with 45 showing on the odometer. However, those numbers will increase every day it doesn't rain.

Thanks again for the kind comments

Rick

Rick, beautiful car.

I have no problem with the C word as long as the car resembles the original car it is supposed to. Your car does just that, its awesome. Very fair price I might add.

I came back for another look at this sweetheart. . It's funny how a car presented just on it's own like this can be appreciated so much more than ones with the questionable pedigrees! . What a deal really....such a beautiful car and thanks for sharing! . Sure wish Santa was real....I've been pretty good this year? . ~ Pete
