How much was it insured for??? When ever I ship a trans I insure it for what it cost to replace it... If you didn't add extra insurence, UPS insures the first $100.00 and you have to add the extra... I sold a trans to a guy in Tenn. for $300.00 and UPS dropped it and broke a cast iron ear off the main case,,, UPS payed the $300.00,,, but I insured it for $300.00...
