| Buying car from Canada (challenges?)

I have located a beautiful GTO in Ontario that I am interested in. Has anyone ever purchased a car from outside of the US and, if so, what are the challenges that you faced with bringing it back into the states? |

my 2 cents..I looked at buying a newer truck from up there about 10yrs ago, I was told by a dealer friend all you need is a bill of sale and the title and bring it home, going the other way was the problem. Bud. |

I think it's a little more involved today...there are people you can contract to bring it into the US ?

Bill of sale and clear title...that's all you need. Call ahead to the border you are crossing at and inform them of what you are doing. They will tell you exactly how to go about it or your shipping company will help if you use one. It really couldn't be simpler.
