Some of you may remember the decision on this site about this car a few months ago “Triple Green or Triple Black”. I find my self with to many projects and not enough time so the Chevelle is “Triple For Sale” Much of the investment quality restoration work has already been completed. Originally Green Mist and equipped with an M22 4 speed, A/C, bench seat, 3:31 positrac. This is not a rattle can restoration. The car was totally disassembled prior to beginning restoration. The frame, all suspension parts, 12 bolt, upper and lower A-Arms, cross member, springs, core support, inner wheel wells, backing plates, dust shield, front & rear sway bars, etc, etc have been media blasted and powder coated. Frame has been completely reassembled using correct factory fasteners, stainless steel brake lines, stainless steel fuel lines, completely rebuilt brakes and new shocks front and rear. 95+% rust free with all GM body panels. The body, floors, doors, cowl hood, trunk lid, trunk pan are in exceptional rust free condition with only a few dings here and there. All have been media blasted and are currently in PPG primer. Original numbers matching “512” block date code I 18 9 Block pad is stamped T0609CRT 10R258856. The “56” is light but partially readable. The engine, 12-bolt posi and M22 4 speed have been professionally rebuilt to factory specs. Comes with 95% of what is needed to complete the car as well as both bench and bucket seats, 14” and 15” SS wheels, new set of 245/60R/15 B F Goodrich TA Radials, Complete factory A/C system, etc, etc. Car has no factory documents. It’s impossible to list here everything that can be said about this car or to list the 100 or so pictures I've taken during restoration. If you have a genuine interest and need additional pictures or information feel free to contact me via email, PM or call me 713-705-2491 22,000.00 obo

Man, that is sweat so far. Looks like an episode on Overhauling. Why didn't you wait to drop the engine in after the car was painted? Won't the fire wall be tricky?

I'm sure the body is just on there for transport. Doesn't appear that the body bottom is even painted yet. My guess is 4 bolts max hold that bad boy on. BTW, what is the 5% that is needed to complete this project? Good looking project. Good luck!
![]() P.S. Copo427 - was that a freudian slip with : "Man, that is sweat so far" You are definitely right on!!!!!!

Correct, I just set the body on yesterday with 4 bolts.
The car will need interior (except for the seats), exhaust system, carburetor, distributor, right front fender, dash carrier, alternator, water pump pulley and crank pulley. Most of the other parts needed to complete I have. Some are restored some still need restoring. Thanks Rick
