They must have whispered it cause I didn't hear them. I think I'm going to build another 427. I have always been partial to the 427s. Maybe I'll built the only 68 Beaumont COPO in existance. Numbers matching of course. Anybody got Bain's number????

The previous owner of my old Harrell Camaro told me stories of the many times it had seen 10K RPMs! 8000 is very do able. It is when you let off of the 427s that you have problems.

I hope it doesn't too. This is the engine that was in the car when I bought it. I have never been happy with it's performance and planned to rebuilt or replace it this winter. Looks like I'll get an early start on it.
