Default Super Cars still at work at the drags

The first time I saw anything about the SCR was on "My Classic Car" back in '98, Tom Clary was quoted as saying "We like showing them, but we really like racing them." Well SCR buddy Jerry MacNeish went to the final round of the NHRA Division 1 Points meet this past weekend at Englishtown NJ losing to Todd Hoven's Poncho with an ET of 10.94 seconds piloting the late Dave Stricker's 1968 Camaro Z28 Super Stock World Championship car. The field began eliminations with 120 cars and it took seven rounds of fighting but he got there. It's enough to even make Grumpy smile.
