Hey Rob,
Give me a call if you are heading up. I am sure you will know by this afternoon if you are coming. I know it would be fun, but like I said, I was nervous enough running to St. Louis and Stanton last year. I will make the drive to Stanton via a detour to Detroit this year (to pick up the truck and trailer! )I know that people have made the predictions on what will make the best times and survive the thrash of 5 tracks in 5 days. I calculated it was something like 1700 miles traveled between all of the tracks. I am guessing computer controlled, boost enhanced cars that will have an overdrive thrown in the gearbox (or behind). I have a feeling that a 5.0 Mustang with a procharger will show up and clean house, but the running gear will have to be bull stout. Hey Charley, You should have left Maltitude here in the Mid-West. I am sure that Rob and I could have put it through the paces! I wonder how much the gas price is going to effect this race?
