Fleetwood? Small world, I'm in Douglassville.

Once a month during the summer there is a cruise at the Oley Turnpike Dairy ice cream shop, bring it on by - and roast 'em as you leave

I do remember that cruise night at Oley now that you mention it...they also have a muscle car show during the summer as well...not at the dairy, but in town at the fairgrounds/fire company....I'm only about 6-7 minutes from the dairy...so that's a definite to show up there...way to easy to smoke 'em when I leave in this car...

The Oley cruise is nice, pretty laid back - has ice cream, a small burger restaurant, and a petting zoo for the kids. I was only there once this past summer, for about a 1/2 hour with my son - but had to run home before the ice cream melted

The show at the fairgrounds is in conjunction with the Oley Fair, and the car show is from 8-2'ish at the high school. The cost is a donation to the charity, so the parking price for the location is first rate! I have not been to that show in a couple of years, as I think it's on the SCR weekend - which can't be missed

Do you know where this car was sold new from yet?

I have not researched where this car was sold new...is there an easy resource available using the VIN? I am 99.999999% sure this was not a Baldwin or Motion sold car. The best possibilities are it was either worked on at Motion, although doubtful (no paperwork)...or more likely the parts where ordered via a Motion mail-order catalog and put on the car...or it's just a clone with little or no "Motion" parts at all...just similar parts to equate to a Motion Chevy II/Nova...this was all taken into consideration when I bought the car as there is nothing but the stories and no paperwork available except the two previous owners names (copies of titles)....so I will only "advertise" this car as a Motion Nova tribute, or recreation, or clone if you will...nothing more...unless I can verify authentic Motion parts from the catalog in the future.

Smart move, without paperwork or a $1,500 check to Joel, it's very hard to document. Otherwise, just enjoy the car as it is

There is no central source for title searches, what state did it come from?

car was purchased in NC where it had been previously titled...but again, the story behind the car was it was originally a PA or NY car...I didn't think there was any way to really prove the vehicle origin without any paperwork...where was CARFAX 35 years ago when I needed it! LOL

I do intend to enjoy the car for what it is...a Baldwin tribute that's cool looking & super fast with that 427...take it cruising, go to some shows, and meet nice people like on this site.

PA is doable, NY is tough - they actually state that they don't see the need for a title search via their DMV and refer requests to an outside source
