71 Motion Nova?

Sure thing as soon as I figure out how to post them. I have confirmed from the original owner that is was sold through baldwin chevrolet and is an original phase III car. I came across the car about 16 or so years ago in Trenton on a trip to NJ and bought it for about $2K. It still has most of the phase III goodies such as the CD ignition, hood tach and rear suspension. The fuel pumps are gone but the hole is still in the trunk where is was attached. It was originally Blue with a black vinyl top which I hope to put back on the car and get it looking like it did when new.

A word of friendly advice, spend the $1,500 and get the car documented through Joel Rosen asap. You never know how long he will continue to document them, and without that, if and when you ever needed to sell, without a letter from Joel and/or other paper, you have nothing but a 36 year old Nova. Not that a 69 Nova is a bad thing but it will obviously be worth at least 10 times more as a documented BM car.

Someone else asked me the same thing on another message board I joined a while back and I had no idea about that article until it was pointed out to me. When I saw it I was stunned by how much it looks like my car, if not identical in every way. However, I do not know if it is the "article" car but it sure is a dead ringer for it though. When I found the car in NJ, eventhough I had never seen a Motion Nova before, from everything I knew about Motion cars back then, I was pretty sure this had to be one as the clues were there upon closer inspection. So I took a chance and made an offer and apparently the kid I bought it from didn't know any better

and at the time he needed the money more than the car.

Email the pictures to me, I'll post them for you. I totally agree with the advise COPO gave you. Get ahold of Joel Rosen, and have that Nova of yours documented. Sure, it will cost you $1,500.00, but if it turns out to be an "authentic" 69 BM Nova, you won't be sorry in the long run, that's if you ever need to sell it. I would much rather have Joel's approval and signed certificate, than what the original owner told you. Good luck!
