As long as you're under 500 hp or so, no difference. And cast cranks actually dampen the torsional vibrations better.

Some of the Super Stock guys like the cast cranks because they are not as heavy I believe. I don't think my motor guy ever broke a crank or block in the 70-80's running modified eliminator with a small block chevy. Use to spin them at 9,000 in those days. I think the 67 and 68 Z's were 2 bolt blocks. So don't get nervous.
