I'm learning here as well.....back to the carburetor, in looking at the add'l pix with this ad it shows a closeup of the carb and the numbers seem to be correct for a 780 cfm for that year/model/engine/trans. Are we sure about the protecto plate interpretation.....maybe the dealer simply put the wrong cfm wording in the ad?

COPO427 - should the vertical piece in the center of the grill be the same color as the car?
