TAKING OFFERS????

As a Buyer and Seller of Many different things, (Antiques,Cars, Motorcycles, Real Estate, etc.)I have come to realize that Most "Seller's" like to be stroked in a subtle fashion. Never tell somebody that their Car is Junk or Not worth the asking price. At that point, you have insulted the owner. Instead try this approach: "I like your Car you are selling and would love to make a Deal with you, But My funds are limited to $XXX.XX." Now without insulting the Seller, you have made him aware that he has a Viable Buyer with $XXX.XX to spend. Thank them for showing you the Car and spending their time to do so. Then, Politely Leave them with your Name and Number. Now when some Jerk comes by and Insults the Guy and His Car by saying "I'll Give you This $XXX.XX Take it or Leave it!" The Seller recognizes that Here is another Viable Buyer with $XXX.XX. Who do you think is going to get the call? You Get more Bees with Honey than you do with Vinegar! Make the Offer! You will always miss the Target if you never shoot your Gun!
