Which Board?
If that's the Black/Red interior Convertible that was in Chevy Hi-Performance 1995 owned by Bill Clements of ChevyCraft..then that car was disproven. It did not come with Aluminum heads,as none of the 1970 LS-6 Chevelles ever did. That particular Chevelle did sell new here in Illinois at Dick Wickstrom Chevrolet. Only 18 1970 L-78 Chevelles received the L-89 Al.Heads from the factory, before being discontinued. |

That's been my understanding.
I don't know what the color of the car is other than it's in Lubbock. We were talking on a Poncho site about a 50 mile Ls6 that was on eBay. Want me to find out more info? |

This one's really gonna rock the boat, but back in the late eighties, we took a 1970 454 4-bolt engine out a 69 Camaro street machine that was DEFINITLY coded as a 450 HP, aluminum head LS6. I don't remember the exact engine suffix, but the code does exist. The alum heads had been replaced by a set of late 70's oval ports and the block had a cracked cylinder wall. I think the block ended up getting thrown away but may still be around.
