Default Re: RA III ?

Double check the block numbers 1968 400RA #9792506 . That same casting number is a RA IV if it is dated 69. The 96 heads = 19681/2 Ram Air II 400, round exh 2.11/1.77 71 cc's.

What are the two letter codes on the block below the passenger side head. See below for codes.

1964 35B,38S,44B,47S,45B,46G,50Q 421HO
1965 WG,WH,WJ,YH,YJ,YK 421HO
1966 WG,WH,WJ,YH,YJ,YK 421HO
1967 WG,WJ,Y2,Y3,XK,YH,YK,YY 428CID
1967 XS,XP,XR 400RA
1968 WI,XN,XP,XS,WU,WY,XY,XW,WS 400RA
1968 WG,WJ,YH,YK 428CID
1969 WJ,WL,YK,XG,WG,WF 428CID
1969 XP,WW,XN,WH 400RAIV
1970 YZ,WS,WH.WW,XN,XP 400RAIV
1970 WA,WG,YA,YH,XF 455CID
1971 WL,WC,WJ,WG,YA,YC,YG,YE 455CID
1972 WD,WM,YR,YE 455CID

Hope this helps

Skier,I believe RAII's RAIV's and 1970 RA III's had 4 bolt mains as well.
