Everything I find is that its a 1980 305 ci.. not what I would hope was in a 67 vette..

CMj code was started in 1974 with the Passenger line.
It's a 350 CID with multiple horse powers through out the following years.
What is the casting date on this block?
That looks like a Camaro VIN#,they started from 500001.

Didn't get date code. Acustoner brought a 67 vette coupe That he wants to buy. Has this engine,A/c, p/w ,p/b, tilt,p/s, BUT no vin tag. Car has certification tag fron N.Y. Asking price is over 20K. Any thoughts? TIM
