Default 70 Z/28 Wheels

Hello, I need a set of 4 70 Z/28 wheels. They must be 70. There is a difference. Email any questions or call 520-349-2337. I have several sets of 72 to trade or sell if anyone is intersted. I'm not having to much luck on this site with wanted items so I hope it gets better. Thanks, Larry.

Larry, Just to clarify your search, are you looking for the EARLY (1st design) 70' ONLY wheel with the 5/8"x1" air valve clearance hole ???? It might be helpful to know the build date of your Z-28, so as we could more easily look for wheel dates.....While your at it, be sure and find 1st design trim rings.....and hopefully you have embossed BOWTIE center caps....

Hello, yes its the 5/8"x1" style that I need. I stil have the spare but the 4 on the car are 13/16"x1". I have NOS trim rings, centers, and lug nuts from 20 years ago. The car is 7E and Forest Green. Thanks, Larry.

Here's an excellent website, which explains the specific changes that these wheels went through.

Larry, I find it very interesting that your 07E Z-28 has the 5/8"x1" Hole wheels. Over at the 2nd gen Camaro site ( www.nastyz28.com ) this subject has been discussed before.....and we did a small amount of research also. WE thought the 5/8" to 13/16" changeover occurred in the April-June timeframe....as May-June build date owners have reported having 13/16 hole wheels....and now YOU talk about your 5/8" Spare. Could you PLEASE report back with EXACT date/code stamping on your spare with 5/8" hole......

Hello, the spare tire is dated K10 2-4 with the 5/8 hole. I never had looked at the date of my wheels on the car. They are all 13/16 and dated K10 7-2. I had always assumed I needed 5/8 and had never looked at the other 4 dates. I had looked at the Stegmiller site but never saw where it changed during the 70 year. So whats up with the spare being 5/8 unless it was changed sometime. Thanks for all the responses and imfo its very helpfull. Larry
