Hey Guys,
I'm the guy who posted that thread on camaros.net. Somebody from this site sent me a list of all 50 Gibb Nova VIN's and this car wasn't one of them. I knew right off the bat because the car had a 6 cylinder VIN number. It started off 11327. This car was never restored and looks like a factory big block car. It has the big block heater core in it and used to have the big block radiator with the curved neck. This radiator is no longer in the car because it was replaced for an aluminum radiator, although the owner still has it in his possession. Here is the Trim Tag information maybe somebody can decifer something from it? 07D B ST 68-11427 WRN102070 BODY TR 737 C-G? PAINT Maybe that C-G is a C-0? Does anybody know of any Nova's that were built with big blocks that had 6 cylinder VINs? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe

[ QUOTE ]
07D B ST 68-11427 WRN102070 BODY TR 737 C-G? PAINT [/ QUOTE ] Decodes to 07D = 4th week of July 1968 B = Blue interior paint 68 = 1968 Model year 11427 = 2 door Chevy II (does not indicate engine size) 102070 = Fisher Body number 102070 737 = Standard Dark Blue cloth bench seat C = Ermine White G = Ash Gold Probably C-C It is probably a 6 cylinder car that has been converted. Is there any chance the original engine and i/p wiring harness still has the parnumber and 2 letter code tags? Greg

The rad hold-down bracket is still the 6cyl version. The trans indicator is a powerslide. It was a 6 banger when new, and converted to a bb.
