L78 Camaro ...Ebay

Definitely the same car. I was in touch with the guy (Jim) years ago but his price was unreasonable for the car. The guy keeps moving and has an unlisted number, so I lost track of him. Then out of the blue a guy calls me on a wanted ad and tells me he was the original owner of a black RS Z and had some of the parts left over from it when he sold it in 1968. Sure enough it's the same car! I go and buy the parts and he shows me the bill of sale and some old time slips from the drag races When he sold the Z he kept the drivetrain out of the car and put it in another '67 body and drove that car for a few years. He told me who he sold it to and I tracked the guy down out west - and he still owns the car with the Z drivetrain Unfortunately, he thinks the motor and tranny are worth $10,000

Mark, I am curious to know if the 67Z you mention on your home page is the same one we talked about the other night. I have had a lot of questions about the L78 and as of today there are over 130 people watching the ebay auction. Should be interesting to see what happens next Tuesday..

My guess is your car will go in the $25K range or maybe a little more. In addition to the other 2 L78's I told you about the other day, I heard of 2 more local cars! Hard to believe there are that many '70 L78's in this area

Am I reading this correctly... There’s 5 70 L78 Camaro’s in your area? Are they
documented cars. No wonder you can’t find one, They are all up in Canada *LOL*

ya we have great taste in cars but poor taste in settling down,it`s friggin minus 10 today and not a hot rod in sight.man i need a indoor show soon or i`m going to blow my mind up!!!!

hey mark quick question,i dont know if you follow clone cars at all but theres a certain dealership in toronto that always has big ticket items for sale on ebay,a 68 camaro 427 clone and a 69 yenko clone,just to name a few of their listings.do you think or know if these cars ever sell for the kind of money they ask??? if they get that kind of money i`m putting mine for sale
