I have the feeling it's a real BB, I would assume it has a killer rearend in it. Maybe next weekend I can check that out. The pics were all taken yesterday.

The third 68 Bird I found is the one I want, I haven't posted anything on it yet. It has a HD 3.55, 4SP, factory gauges, deluxe interior, bench seat. All rare goodies for a Bird. So I'm sending off for the PHS to see if it may have been a coveted HO car.

Not quite this weekend, but close. I went to T'giving a year or two ago in Bethesda. My family went to a mall in Tyson's Corner or somewhere and we were looking for a place in the garage. Amidst all the Kias and Chevys was this H/O. I was floored - who in their right mind would be driving this car in this poor weather? It was a beater, to be sure, and I salute the owner for driving it, but when was the last time you saw a car of this caliber being used as a beater?

It's from my camera phone, hence the fuzziness. But it's one of my coolest finds. And yes, it had the sequence number on the dashboard.

These were taken this morning. This is what happens when some one gets burnt out on their musclecars.

You don't have to go out to the boonies to find gems like those. Here's one that lives in my neighborhood, and has been sitting outside with the driver's side window rolled down for almost 4 years.

Another view. BTW, this car is well hidden in one of the nicest neighborhoods on the east side of Columbus.

He's just a local guy that is burned out on muscle cars, there are probably all still sitting in the same spot. I even think he has one of those all aluminum BB's for the pace car, and you wouldn't believe the rest of the cars not in the photo. I think he has around 400 throughout the trees.
