Are we talking about a bucket seat car? There are some bumpers betewwen the bottom and the back of the bucket seat that can be cut or removed to adjust the seat rake. I have my bumpers removed completely, which makes the seats lean back to a nice comfortable angle. It makes it so that I can set the seat position forward to reach the pedals easily without putting the steering wheel right in my chest. I am 5'8".
[ QUOTE ] Oh boy........do I have a question!!!!!! I owned a 70 Nova SS back in the early 70s, and the seat fit just fine with plenty of room to spare. I'm about 5 ft and 9" tall... Ok, so now I own a 70 Nova SS and the seat is all wrong, no room, head hits headliner....etc. So what changed??? I know some people overstuff the seats when they are recovered......but is there something else wrong? I never needed seat extenders 30 years ago!!! Yes, I have gained weight, but that's not it. ktownkid [/ QUOTE ] |
