JMO... I know that Don has followed Hurst and Hurst products for many, many years. Although non of us are all knowing I believe he has done a lot of research on Hurst and their aftermarket products. Just going to his shop reveals to me he has a variety of rare items and paperwork. I feel we can all learn from these threads and will help identify these products when this subject comes up again on other rare cars like Marks. Sam |

The car has a cool set of Hurst wheels, whats the big deal? When Tommy K bought his red Deuce it was from Hurst and I told him that day we needed to get a set of Hurst wheels just because we wanted to see something different than Atlas style wheels of every car. He never did and Mark has. I think they are a very cool choice, period. I would never change them out.IMO...BKH |

I have always Loved the HURST Wheels on GTO'S. When I bought the NOVA I really didn't know much about YENKO NOVA'S, when I saw the Hurst Badge on the back, Marlin told me that the last (50) cars were converted by Hurst for YENKO. I wanted to Personalize the car and the Hurst Wheels were available to me. I thought I would put them on and see what they look like. I talked to Dave Belk last night who bought the car from the original owner and said it left the Dealership with Keystone Mags and Headers. I am also Very fortunate to have the Name and Phone Number of the Original Owner and best of all he is Only about 30 miles from me. Mark |

The 'original owners family member' to be exact! I remember busting on him at vette fest for that comment. I know he recalls them as Keystones, but they still look like Hurst wheels to me - either way, leave those wheels on Whose gonna put Strippers or Spyders on a deuce?

[ QUOTE ] Whose gonna put Strippers or Spyders on a deuce? [/ QUOTE ] Both would suck! Shonye has the right idea with Cragers on his! I should be the guy to modernize the look of slots on a Deuce cause they look cool! (another Schonye inovation) Hey Ken send me that vintage pic again with your Deuce and the Fentons on it and ill post it!
