Yup, they made them. They're known as the last "real" Z. -or were for a while. Same engine and power rating as '73 (L-82), but was only available in 49 states. CA was stuck with the LM-1 I believe.

One '75 built? -Aahh...the only thing I ever heard of was basically a '74 with all the pollution crap and detuning needed to meet '75 specs built to see what it would do. It wasn't any better then the base engine. That was supposedly one of the reasons it was dropped.

'75 was another good one for fake Zs (among all the others). As a kid I would try and pic them out at shows. I still do, but I should mention that my neighbor would put Z emblems on any Camaro even if it was an SS. Why?, "it looks cool"
