[/ QUOTE ] Jeff, your Z looked to be an outstanding original car, but I don't think the tailpan stripes look original to it. It's hard to tell in the pics, but it looks like the small surrounding stripes are applied with parts store pinstriping tape. Notice the thick/thin surrounding pin stripes edging the wide stripes on the tail pan. I think the hood and decklid stripes are most likely unmolested, but it looks like someone simply extended them onto the deck edge/tailpan. I'd bet any money those thin stipes around the outside were tape, but again JMO. Great car in a great color. I'm surprised AT wasn't more popular back in '69, it looks great trimmed in black.
