No one knows for sure,not even Chevrolet.
The VIN#,or Cowl tag won't call it out either.
In 1969 they made 9486 L78 chevelles.400 of those with the L89 Al.Head.
The 300 Post Sedan has Guesstimates floating around.
Try Contacting Don Lightfoot here or on Team Chevelle,he owns one.
