paint? its flat black, its obviously not the original. probably painted a few years ago.
what makes me think is a yenko?? the cars title in peru usually copies the importation paper car name. it said 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko. i have not seen the original importation papers, but the title always copy the brand name of the importation papers. this means it was imported as a 1969 chevrolet camaro yenko. i doubt who imported the car 30 years ago was going to pass it thru customs as a yenko just because, knowing they are more expensive, thus paying more taxes when importing. [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] the price is extremely good, and i have little doubt is actually a yenko. [/ QUOTE ] In your first post you stated you have little doubt its a real yenko... I asked once and will ask again, what makes you think its real besides the stripes I'm assuming it has? In your latest posts you don't seem as sure about the legitimacy of the car... what color is it? What other details are leading you to believe its a car that was built in Canonsburg PA and is now in South America and for sale cheap? ![]() [/ QUOTE ] |

A friend of mine hade a -69 Camaro that was registered as a Z28 when it came to Sweden in the early seventies. It was actually a 327 base coupe.

Funny the CT title from 1989 that I got with my Deuce says in the body style description "2dr Yenko". Also interesting is that when the title was issued it had the buyers date of birth on it and he was only 18 years old!
