CONGRATS Frank...just goes to show that supercars aren't just for the "aged" crowd (can't use "mature" cause that's a relative term
)....it's also great to see that you were able to keep your Chevelle...... ![]()

Hey Frank,
I will work on that original owner and prior owner info. I'll also copy some of my pics I took of your car when it was just hours from being finished. I met Neal and his son Chris in Binghamton, NY at 1:00am on a Saturday night in April of '97. We proceeded on to the Super Chevy Show in New Hampshire where we were joined by two other Yenko Deuces. It was a nice time, with good pics of three deuces!

Congrats, Frank. If you are the youngest,I must be the oldest Deuce owner
. Like you I will never forget the day the Deuce was unloaded . As a matter of fact I think I will make a pass through town in your honor. The sun is shining and the Deuce is always ready to be exercised!! I put a set of Hedman headers and flowmasters on it and picked up 50 hp. at the rear wheels and really added to the enjoyment of driving her. Sounds pretty wicked!! Have FUN!! Jim |

Forget Mr. Nelson. He doesn't recognize Small Blocks as Supercars!!! [/ QUOTE ] Let me rephrase that. I don't mean to give everyone the wrong impression of my good friend Rick. I should have said "He's more partial to the Big Block cars." I know Rick loves and respects Deuces as much as I do. My apologies to Rick and anyone else who might have taken it the wrong way! Me and my big mouth! ![]() Dennis

Dennis [/ QUOTE ] Dennis, all the debates that have taken place on this site lately must have you gun shy. I admit it.......it's true. Nothing runs like a big block especially when in a big car. The fact that of the over 100 cars I have owned that only two were small blocks should have nothing to do with that. Ok, start throwing the mud. ![]() Back to you Frank! ![]()

That a boy Frank! SCR7 is looking very good now. Can't wait to see you row the gears...Speaking of, '56s are no problem. My L79 runs all day on the open road at 6000 RPM. Heck, a solid lifter motor knows no RPM limit. I say enjoy the revs
