Jeff,

Great post. There is some twists to the current market, and in this example, appears to have nothing to do with this site at all. The example is the recent price paid for the Offy-equipped X-ram car at Barriett-Jackson. Two egos collided that day - on a car that (prior to the bidding) seemed to be worth considerably less. However on that day the bidders set the "market" on that car.

Reproducable price?

Only time will tell.

I agree this site has helped the value of the "Supercars", but given the price of rare Mopars they must have an even better site! Pontiacs site might be better as well. Obviously many factors have come together to push market prices to todays level not just all of us on this site.
