In reading the description, the seller says he still has the rusted out shell of the car, which will be made available to the winning bidder. I'm sure the VIN plate is still attached to the dash of the rusted shell, too - and we all know where that's leading to.... Earlier this week, I saw another eBay auction for a 65 L79 engine. Reading the text of the auction, you found out that the winning bidder would also be "offered the opportunity" to purchase (for a nominal additional fee..) the matching numbers muncie trans, rear axle, Protecto-Plate, and VIN plate [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif[/img] [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif[/img] The sellers are being pretty slick in avoiding doing anything illegal.
