Also L-72's have iron heads so a copo car would not come with aluminum heads as tims dad said came on the car from the factory, correct?

I find it hard to believe they built an LA 427 car that early in the production year for 68. Almost all the 69 COPO's were Norwood cars. You would need to see the P-O-P and window sticker to see if it looks like they are original and legitimate.

I would agree with Sammy Z, there was only one double COPO 9561/9737 built in 68 and Don Yenko got it, and the only one known to exsist today. The 68 double COPO Camaro was a prototype for the 69.

With so little known about Dana camaros, is it possibile this could be one of those cars? It being an LA built car and the hood design. Is the A/C system a modified factory unit or is it all aftermarket?

I thought he said it was a numbers matching 427 copo? window sticker and protecto plate says so? If it is a transplant, pop would not list the 427 option or the window sticker. Can we see pics of the pop and window sticker? The car will not sell for what it is worth without this info. Roger

Are there such thing as 08B, 68 camaros? I thought production didnt start until Sept., Also, Chevy never put A/C in a car with Mechanical Lifters so whats up with that? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif[/img] If owner says car is original and has window sticker and POP as proof than it would have had to come from the factory that way. Car is all original but at the top of the page the rear is listed as BE 4.10, at the bottom it is listed as 12 bolt 3.73 [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif[/img] The kid keeps asking for help but wont show the documents...it come down to this..
