Lance Hill raced that car and I believe he went on racing Pro Stock into the '70s. Belmont and Gorries seemed to know what a drag strip was. During one of the early '70s CanAm weenends at Mosport, a UOP Shadow made its home at Nurse Chev-Olds in Whitby. Most dealers around here had no interest what so ever. A friend couldn't dig up any GM sponsors and ended up racing a Dodge.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
