Not sure if you are going to run into a Mopar Guru on a Chevy site?, I had a 65 a few years ago and found some good contacts in the back of Hemmings, I tossed all the Mopar stuff after that car and swore Never, ever to do that again..

Run away from this guy. Unless the car is real cheap of course. '64s could have come with 426 max wedge motors [not 413] until mid year, then the hemi was introduced & the max wedge was discontinued. Mopars used aluminum for their lightweight body pieces in '64, so, fibreglass would be aftermarket.

...That's what I figured ( the fibre glass being after market pieces )...I was just trying to figure if this car came with just a single four barrel 413 motor ..or did it come with the crossram carbs on a 413 motor.

Yep...the 'glass' body panels are aftermarket. I worked at the Chrysler Twinsburg, OH stamping plant from 65 till 74 and never heard of or saw a glass panel. A friend at the Hamtramck, MI assembly plant said a few aluminum panels were sent to Highland Park, apparently for some skunk work projects (ie..race team cars).

If you think the car is for real, contact Galen Govier at [email protected] to decode the fender tag. He is the recognized Mopar Guru.
