The '68 & '69 cars were a semi gloss (60 - 70%) so I would guess the '70's were too. Was it just the tail lite panel on your car or the lower valance too? I've seen some cars with the lower panel black also but I always figured that was an afterthought. GM just did the upper portion. Just some memories from the moldy old mind!
