I don't know what my parents have for documentation on the car. I haven't seen anything so I assume that thier isn't any. But, the car has never been dismanteled as far as I know. Other than the engine rebiuld that was done in the mid 80's. This car is an unrestored car. I have never went hunting for a biuld sheet or anything. It could still be under the back seat or in the headliner I don't know for sure. Right now the car is sitting in my parents garage and have been sitting their since 1993 and have only been started just to move it around if required. Hope this helps.

Jesse,
Without seeing the car it is pretty hard to estimate a value. Unfortunately Caprices do not bring a lot of money and are usually worth about what their drivetrain is worth. On average, I see complete used cars from the $2000-5000 range depending on a lot of things. If the car is rusted and can only provide a drivetrain, $1500-2000 is more accurate. I have seen exceptional cars sell in the $8000-12000 range if they are mint but those were SS427 Impalas and not Caprices. Rick

A real nice Black /Red 1966 427/390 Caprice (loaded with options) was sold at auction last Spring here in Illinois for less than $10,000.00 The high HP solid lifter cars will fetch much more.
