To stand in defiance of the entire world would be considered the act of an insane person, considering the amount of time he has had to comply I dont believe we are the agressor in this situation, I would think more like the term enforcer would apply. Why did he go into Kuwait and try to destroy that Country or take over that Country? Why don't they look at what he did to the Kurds ??
Where were the protestors when he did this?
Tell me of another country that tried to pull this off in today's world. If we didn't step in, he would now own Kuwait.

I cannot for the life of me understand the Hollywood left in this country. If a Taliban style gov't ever took control in this country(Yes I know it's doubtful but I'm trying to make a point) all the folks in the Hollywood film industry would be one of the first ones hung with piano wire from a crane in a football stadium. For you people that do not know in Afganiston during Taliban control if they found you with a T.V you were hung in the Kabul soccer stadium. They did this every Saturday. Same thing with any video tapes and most kinds of music. Right after the liberation people went to their backyards and dug up the TV's. But yet the HL said we should not have gone over there and should mind our own business.

The Hollywood crowd is the worst of the worst infidels in the minds of the Islamic Fundalmentalist. You would think the HL would be screaming from the rooftops to stop the Islamic Fundalmentalist and their terrorist minnions. But no. Shows the mentality of these people.

BTW The list of actors I will allow myself to watch is getting less and less every week. Hope conservative Mel Gibson is around for along time.

My company designs and builds combat system equipment for use by the U.S. Navy. All of us here understand that the end item user of our equipment is, ultimately, someones son, daughter, husband, wife, etc. If war does break out please remember who you are turning your back on if you do not provide 100% support.

Here is why we need to take out Saddam. If Saddam could make a nuke he would sell it to a terrorist to use it against one of our cities.

I read a report done by a think tank of what would happen to the US economically if a nuke went off in downtown NY on Wall Street. Chilling.

The majority of all large banks and financial institutions are based in NYC. Yes they keep backup records in other areas of the US but the heads of thse companies and the best of the best minds are based in NYC.

Our country would suffer an economic collapse that would make the depression look like Christmas. The economic uncertantity alone would cause most people to stop buying anything other than food and heat immediately. The economy would start rolling down a hill like a snowball.
The report said that the gov. would shut down the banks asap to stop a run on the banks. Pension plans would be frozen for at least 1 year if not dissolved due to insolvency. Would you continue funding your pension plan and how? Most countries would pull their investments out of our economy due to uncertaintity. If you could not pull money out of a bank(or did not have a job) could you buy car parts, pool, garden tractor, new TV, carpeting? There would be massive unemployment within 1 month. Your only concern would be getting food and heat so any business that does not deal in these commodoties would be hurting big time.
Many countries in the world are near bankruptcy. Don't think it could not happen to the US. We have record trade deficets and huge deficit compounding the problem.

The report said it would take 4-6 years for the country to recover. Most people would be starting from scratch as their pensions plans would be gone.

I have no pity on these extremist fools like hussein and his pals...but it seems much of the world is against this action. If we have proof whether legal, or illegal we should put it on the table for all to see...if we do have this information we should wait until about an hour after we start destroying his regime before we publish it and at the same time..stop writing checks to all of our wonderful allies like France and Germany.Better yet...why not just give Israel a call and tell them to go remove hussein and bin laden and just call us when they are done....
