There has been one documented X22 COPO Camaro and no X66 Copos other than Yenkos found ,documented or verified to date.

Ed Cuneen's COPO book references the X22 Code COPO, which belongs to a club Member. Why would you think it was a COPO or Yenko by the vin and trim tag? |

There are no Yenko's shown to have 588xxx as a VIN. The latest shown in that range would be 587xxx. I don't believe there were any X22 Yenkos either. There were X66 Yenkos but they appear to all be 01B cars. Remember, Yenko ordered his cars as stripped down cars with standard interior and usually no exterior trim so an X22 trim car wouldn't fit in place with his first order of cars.

Stefano, it wasn't the VIN or trim tag that got my curiosity up (well maybe some). Other things...may be, may be not. I am content to wait and research at this point. Money sure isn't a factor as I "jumped over" these two cars.

Man you guys know so much information it is unreal! I got lost at COPO Jeff stay away from the ice fishing,I had some guys from Minn.Down here in Texas one time on a job and they all could not wait to get back home to ice fish. When the came back after the Christmas holidays they brought me some pictures.I don't want to go a mile out on a FROZEN LAKE fishing, with my luck it would start to MELT on me!!One thing about it you don't have to buy any ice to keep any cold drinks or beer cold. I would rather be where you are fishing, nice sun, warm breeze and man oh man those Grass Skirts!

I don't know of any X22 COPO's. Not sure of the one that Stefano is referring to, but it's not in the database.

Little errors (like the X22 thing) alway creep into the site........ #'s show that no way that car is a COPO.

The X22 Code Copo which I was referring to ,I believe belongs to Bob and Larry Adock.

The info I have shows that it was sold out of Courtesy Chevrolet in Sebring Ohio. It is an early 01B car with 713 Trim and 72 72 Paint with X22. |

As Stefano says, there is one fully documented X-22 COPO Camaro in the COPO Connection registry. I know of no other one built. X22 was the code used for Big Block Super Sports with Style Trim. Yenko's first batch of 50 cars did not have Style Trim, so they received X66 codes. Later orders were changed to X11 and X44 codes.

To my knowledge, the Adcock brothers' daytona yellow yenko camaro is an X44 body, and was sold out of Bob Johnson Chevrolet in Wausau, WI.
