Low thirteens, possible mid to high twelves with some relative reasonable tuning and mods? IMHO, definitely supercars.

drive a gmmg equipped new ZL1 and you tell me ifit is a supercar, not to be sarcastic. i have ndever driven a car this fast, it is a phase 3, and will kill a viper, i've driven both. helen gibb gave her stamp of approval and you could take delivery at gibb chevy in laharpe, and it was built under the COPO ordering system. 600HP! I®ve ordered a HOT ROD edition, phase II with Line Lock,
i do feel its a supercar, and in my personal opinion they will be acknowledged as that also in 30 years.

A ZL 1, even hotter, sounds as awesome machines.

Markjack66...Porterfields # 1 2002 ZLL1 ran a 12.58@117 with 3.42 gears and two People in it. The engines have been bumped even more since then.

I was under the impression that all the ZL1 cars have 4.10 gears. Correct me if I'am wrong please.

NCGuy- I've seen you on LS1.com for a while, about time you found this site!! Totally agree the new cars are current muscle. Handling, braking, all the creature comforts and mid 12's....gotta be American muscle!

I posted on this site right after I got my Earnhardt car in June, 01. At that time, there didn't seem to be much interest/awareness of the modern 'tuner' cars. I see that has changed dramatially now.

I'll always be a big fan of the 1st Gen cars. However, as you've said, mid 12s' with braking, handling and creature comforts is PURE American Muscle from the modern cars.

Refresh my memory please. What GMMG upgrades make the Phase II 435 HP package?

Enjoy your cars.
