As Joe points out, the ground is going to kill the car as much as the freeze and thaw every year. The guy needs one of these Carcoon for an investment of $600 or even a Car Jacket for about $300 (I use one of these to combat the English dampness in the indoor garage where I keep my COPO). Small beans relative to a deteriorating car and similarly deteriorating value.
